The confirmed core loop
The official description presents two connected layers. At the colony, you build, enact policies, organize citizens, research, gather, and manufacture. During expeditions, you fight beside troops in first person, gather resources, meet traders, and bring captured or conscripted people back to support colony growth.
That connection matters: the colony is not described as a separate menu around the combat. It supplies the broader war effort, while expeditions provide resources and people for continued growth.
Citizen management basics
Official material describes citizens as responsive to both coercion and support. Fear, propaganda, surveillance, punishment, comfort, and prosperity can shape whether people become grateful, afraid, loyal, or rebellious.
Citizens can be assigned to mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture. We do not yet publish optimal job ratios, loyalty thresholds, or rebellion formulas because those values have not been documented in a stable, complete official reference.
Combat and roguelite expeditions
Expeditions are first-person battles fought alongside troops. Official descriptions range from hostile ships to mechanized battlefields with infantry, tanks, mechs, elite enemies, bosses, and projectile-heavy encounters.
Cores are collected during an expedition to alter the current run. More detailed routing, difficulty, and survival advice will be added after the Early Access build can be fully tested.
Buildings, weapons, and Cores
- Buildings support the colony layer as shelters develop into a larger, self-sustaining production base.
- Weapons are manufactured in the colony and used in first-person combat; no complete verified weapon catalog is published here yet.
- Weapon Cores change how guns handle. Combination Cores create synergies between core sets, while other Cores can affect the troops fighting with you.
What this guide does not claim
Best starts, strongest weapons, optimal Cores, exact resource priorities, and numerical breakpoints remain intentionally undocumented until a release build and patch context can be tested.
